 Advantages of Aluminium

Aluminium is an extremely versatile metal with a number of advantages, it is recognised for being both lightweight and flexible. It can be cast, melted, formed, machined and extruded meaning that it can be manufactured into a variety of shapes and then subsequently fabricated to suit a whole variety of uses.


Light Weight

A known lightweight metal, it has a specific weight of approximately 2.71 g/cm3. It’s about a third of the weight of steel, which makes it easier and cheaper to transport than most other metals. The strength of aluminium can be adapted using varying alloying elements to provide better benefits including higher strength or easier formability.


Corrosion Resistance

Aluminium is a corrosion resistant metal that naturally generates a protective coating. The coating formed is extremely thin and is generated when aluminium comes into contact with an oxidising environment. This protective aluminium oxide layer helps protect the surface of the metal from corrosion. Additionally, getting surface treatment such as painting or anodising can further improve the overall corrosion resistance of the metal.

Our latest technology

Our company's latest technology can perfectly combine the two different materials of aluminum and carbon fiber(wood), so that the glasses can have both the strength of aluminum and the texture of carbon fiber(wood). Then, we coat the frame with a special antioxidant treatment to protect them from dampness and oxidization. The result is an Aluminum laminated carbon fiber(wood) frame that holds up to wear and tear without deteriorating or falling apart. Our metal sunglasses are thinner and unlike plastic, they do not get brittle from UV exposure. In short, they are built to last.

How photochromic lenses work

Photochromic lenses are eyeglass lenses that are clear (or nearly clear) indoors and darken automatically when exposed to sunlight. Other terms sometimes used for photochromic lenses include "light-adaptive lenses," "light intelligent" and "variable tint lenses."Because of this, some people — including some eye care practitioners — refer to photochromic lenses as "transitions lenses" or "transition lenses."  How photochromic lenses work: The molecules responsible for causing photochromic lenses to darken are activated by the sun's ultraviolet radiation.
